A night @ SkyLab Gallery

Skylab more than a gallery is a home, not only for those who live and work there, but a home for emerging musicians and artists, of course I must mention all of us who are eager to open our eyes, minds, and ears to inspiration. This concept which is inviting and exciting seems to me what all gallery should pursuit to a certain extent. At times the atmosphere of a gallery is left aside and works of art ,which have  life of their own, are left to a dull spotlight, isolating it from its belonging context. On the other hand, the times that I have attended to SkyLab events, I feel I can connect with the works around me. The fact that there is not a strong division between presenters and audience allows a kind of click to click.

THE SHARK IS BEAUTIFUL, don't know who did it but it is suspended from the roof above the kitchen area, precise decor when cooking the food chain.

A little taste:

Among the musicians presenting yesterday, february 11, was Mark McGuire. I must say it was a beautiful performance, the way melodies build and evolve , taking my mind into a journey of thoughts and grasped feelings.

I took the photos and video with camera phone, as I don't have one for the moment, that would explain the low resolution. Which to be honest, I really like the aesthetics of it.
