A vest i did for my construction class, I used canvas as the fabric and synthetic dyes to create the coloring of the fabric. For the sides of the vest I used the batik (with bees wax) as the dying resistant method. Following the guides and a little freedom to experiment, this was a fun project. Being able to play around with materials and methods is most definitely a relief and a pay of the work that was demanded, it reminds me why I enjoy to do what I do.
